WHITECHAPEL GALLERY

CONTEMPORARY ART BOOT CAMP

The Arts Society Westminster gave a grant of £1000 towards the cost of this event. Whitechapel Gallery have been running their Summer Boot Camps for several years. The camp concentrates on opportunities for young people wishing to make a career within the arts.

ARTS 4 DEMENTIA

The Arts Society Westminster gave a grant of £450 to

Arts 4 Dementia, for one session of Early Stage Dementia Training.


Arts 4 Dementia support and pioneer the arts for those with early stage dementia and their carers, through innovative workshops, irrespective of age, sexuality, gender or ethnicity.

MILLMAN STREET COMMUNITY CENTRE

The Arts Society Westminster recently gave a grant of £400 to Millman Street Community Centre for a series of dance workshops.


Millman Street Community Centre offers an integrated programme and a broad range of activities for older people, with or without support needs, including mild/moderate dementia and physical or sensory disability.

THE ROYAL SCHOOL OF NEEDLEWORK

The Arts Society Westminster recently gave a grant of £1000 to The Royal School of Needlework as a bursary for a student on their Future Tutors Programme.


Chief Executive of RSN:

‘The Future Tutor Programme enables us to grow our number of teachers, ensuring their skills are up-to-date and to continue our mission by being able to spread stitch skills’.
